A lot of products do not pass on the first try. FCC non-compliance usually comes down to a handful of fixable issues: radiated emissions from an unshielded cable, conducted noise from a power supply, or a layout problem that is amplifying common-mode currents. Evaluate Your Product

We confirm SDoC is the right authorization path and determine which Part 15 rules apply. If you are not sure where your product fits, we will help you figure it out.

Test

Conducted and radiated emissions testing performed to applicable Part 15 limits in our accredited lab.

Issue Your SDoC

Your compliant test report issued by GME supports your Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity. You issue the SDoC and the product is authorized.

Go to Market

Your product is ready for U.S. sale.

What is the difference between SDoC and FCC Certification?
SDoC is for unintentional emitters, meaning devices that generate RF as a byproduct of how they work, like microprocessors. SDoC is also for devices that implement pre-approved radios. FCC Certification is only required for intentional radiators that are new radio designs. GME handles SDoC. If your product turns out to need Certification instead, we will let you know at the quoting stage.
What if my product fails testing?
It happens to a lot of products and it is fixable. Our engineers will identify the root cause and tell you what needs to change. First-timers get a full walkthrough. Experienced manufacturers get a straight answer and a fast path forward.
Also selling in the EU? GME is an ISO 17025 accredited CE testing laboratory. We can handle both FCC and CE compliance so you are not coordinating two separate testing relationships. Ask us about CE testing when you request your quote.
